Hyundai Factory Driver Rhys Millen takes 2nd in the Last Chance Qualifier moving onto finish 6th in the final. Fellow RMR Disney XD Motorcity Driver Stephan Verdier takes home his first podium finish placing third in the 2012 Global RallyCross Championship Round 1.
The Rhys Millen Racing RallyCross team season opener kickoffs at Charlotte Motor Speedway, which is considered one of the premier NASCAR tracks in the nation. Shakedown and qualifying on Friday placed Millen in 9th
and Verdier in 11th. Both cars ran flawlessly all day. “I’m feeling
great and have a lot more to give for tomorrows battle,” said Verdier. The
stage was set for Saturdays main event.
On Saturday fans were greeted to an autograph session and driver introductions kicked off shortly after the Nationwide History 300. Ticket holders got to meet their favorite drivers and experience the fast growing sport of RallyCross up-close.
Verdier made fast work in the B Main securing his spot in the final. “I had a great start and was able to stay with Tanner the whole race taking 2nd,” said Veridier.
Millen would find himself in the Last Chance Qualifier after narrowly missing the opportunity in the previous heat. Millen drove a solid LCQ to move on for the final. “It was an all out sprint race but we got the job done to move on,” said Millen.
In the final, Millen was in a dominant position moving from 10th at the start into 3rd by the second corner. Unfortunately the next lap Millen’s cam belt sustained a failure greatly reducing the engines horsepower. “We spent all weekend learning this new car but we’re in a great position and we’ll carry this momentum into Texas,” replied Millen placing him 6th for the weekend.
Verider never giving up moved from the back of the field to finish third. “First time out in the Motorcity car and placing third I could not be happier,” said Verdier.

Discussion
If you are living where Fiat delaer near to you, it won’t be an issue about after sales service. Don’t expect the fuel efficiency of i10 which is small and light in weight compared to Punto which is spacious and heavy compared to i10. 1.2 looks underpowered as per the size of the car and 1.4 not fuel efficient as 1.2. Compare other models available in the market as per your budget and requirements.
“because it’s pretty clear that US mfatancuurers continue to hold to their gentleman’s agreement not to offer all-wheel drive to the buying public in these cars, an agreement that goes back at least some 40 years.”Proof? Because if you’re going to make bullshit claims, I’m going to call you on this nonsense. If the next words you type are “there are no yank cars with AWD”, then you’ll have to be expelled from CS.
