Rhys Millen and Stephan Verdier challenge the world's top RallyCross drivers for X-Games gold.

Rhys Millen Racing - Huntington Beach, CA – July 3, 2012 - Rhys Millen Racing enters the 18th edition of this summer event in downtown Los Angeles with high expectations for the teams Turbo Hyundai Veloster’s. Rhys Millen in the number 67 Hyundai / Pulse car won his Last Chance Qualifier finishing forth overall in Sundays medal final. Hyundai remains second in manufacture points just behind Ford.

Stephan Verdier in the number 12 Motorcity car continues to show growth and confidence in his new chassis this season. "I had a lot of fun here at X-Games driving the Motorcity car. Special thanks to DisneyXD and the team at Motorcity for their help in making this door to door rally action possible," said Verdier.

Millen would dominate the LCQ against fellow Red Bull Athlete Bryce Menzies (Dodge) and Andy Scott (Saab) with live prime-time coverage on ESPN in front of 120 countries. Watch Below.

RMR competing in only its second X-Games, Millen would advance into the final medal race for his second year in a row. Millen starting near the rear of the grid connected having a solid start into the first corner. Watch below.

"What a final! Because of this Hyundai's reliability, we had our best finish yet at X-Games," said Millen. David Binks (Driver #17) turned into Millen attempting to defend his driving line ultimately spinning out both drivers. But Millen quickly got back inline passing Binks and two other drivers narrowly missing 3rd for a bronze medal. "We have this Veloster at the competitive level it needs to be on top. I have no doubt in my mind that next year we can bring Hyundai its first gold medal," said Millen.

Both Turbo Hyundai Veloster's had no mechanical issues all weekend. Thanks to HRE Performance Wheels new RX43 Bead Lock Rim, RMR Cooper Tires didn't sustain a single flat lap.

The next round of the Global RallyCross Championship takes RMR driver Stephan Verdier to New Hampshire Motor Speedway July 14, 2012. Rhys Millen will prepare for his next GRC event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway later this year. Purchase your tickets through New Hampshire Motor Speedway HERE
